| Testimonials ~Karen "The Liver Lady" Peterson, as most dogs and people know her, has created an amazing assortment of delectable dog treats. In Agility circles these treats are known to make the dogs wild just by the smell. They are extremely healthy and made from all human grade ingredients and most dogs will do whatever they need to, to sink their teeth into them. Some are so crazed by the tantalizing treats that I have seen well behaved dogs jump, not with two, but with all four feet on to Karen's table just to get a sample. Laurie McCauley, DVM TOPS Veterinary Rehabilitation ~Dear Karen, First, I wanted to thank-you for the generous quantity of treats you gave me yesterday at the dog show in Rosemont- and for listening so carefully to my problem with Pandora. Both were very much appreciated. Now, for the exciting news! Pandora loves your treats, and for the first time since she came to live with me in August actually took a treat from my hand while facing me!! Granted she stood as far away from me as she could and stretched out her head, but she took the treat twice, and didn't move away when they were gone. After watching all the dogs jump through hoops yesterday for a tiny lick of your treats, I felt silly telling you that my dog was almost afraid of treats, but I really needed help. Finding a treat that she could get enthusiastic about, and getting her trust that I wasn't going to grab her if she took it, is a huge breakthrough for her, and will be a big step in her emotional recovery. So from Pandora, and her Mom~thank-you for the time & love you put into your treats, and for listening to someone who needed help. After Pandora finished her treats, I sat with her awhile talking in a "happy" voice, got up, casually went upstairs to my room and bawled like a baby. 5 months of trying to get through to this sweet dog - it was a gift & a blessing to feel her gently take that treat from my hand.... There is a special place in heaven for you, Karen! Very Sincerely, Jill Hansrote Collie Rescue, IL. ~Nakai says, My Mom is very picky about what treats she will feed me, something about watching my weight. Most times the treats she'd feed me weren't so tasty, but then we met The Liver Lady at an agility trial and that all changed. She makes treats called Liver Brownies and Peanut Butter Bites and they are super delicious. I love them so much that when I catch a wiff of them at a trial, I drag Mom to The Liver Lady's booth. I can be picky myself, but I really LOVE The Liver Lady cookies! Two paws up!! ~Brix says, My Mom has always said my brother Nakai is picky. Well I'm proud to say that I'm pickier. I've never liked to stop to eat when playing agility, but that all changed when my Mom got these things called Tuna Biscotti from The Liver Lady. I will do ANYTHING for Tuna Biscotti. They are the best things ever! I also love the Chicken Liver & Rice Brownies as they are very tasty as well! Mom says she likes them because they don't crumble in her pocket which works for me because that means I get bigger pieces. The Liver Lady gets two paws up from me! ~My five dogs range in age from 2-12 years old and their nutritional needs vary. I prefer to give them healthy treats, but high quality store bought treats can be expensive and sometimes stale out of the package. Karen's original Liver Brownies, Peanut Butter Bites, and Pumpkin & Banana squares are a huge hit with my dogs, plus they're good for them, and my pocketbook. It's so easy to buy Karen's in bulk, freeze them and then take them out as needed so we never run out and they're always fresh. I also appreciate Karen's excellent customer service and willingness to do special orders- Thanks Karen! We have not met a LIVER LADY treat that we would'nt eat. All we can say, YUMMY YUMMY for the TUMMY TUMMY!!!!! We own Joyce Morse Dear Karen, My dog Ruby had complicated surgery after she was hit by a car Part of her continued post operative therapy is electro stimulation ("e-stim") to her lower leg to increase strength. As you might imagine, she was less than thrilled with the e-stim and we had difficulty getting her to accept the treatment. That is, until I began to incorporate your liver brownies and tuna potato snacks into her treatment. When I bring out the bag of snacks, she is so focused on them that she barely bats an eye when the therapist begins to send the electrical signal to the contacts on her leg. I tried other treats but they did not capture her interest like yours did. Thanks Dia Morgan I have heard about your treats for a while from other people whose pets love them. I finally got to get some from you at the NOCI Agility Trial this past weekend.
My girls love the Tuna Biscotti, and let me know when they think they need more. Now all I have to do is say "Liver Lady" and they all come running. We have a Shih Tzu, Rottweiler, and Border Collie.
My husband just laughs now, because I just bought these treats Sunday afternoon and the girls go crazy for them. Thank you very much.
ps. even the kitty comes running when I get the bag;)
